On 24 november 2016 by Customer serviceThe downside of this formula is that it does not contain iron, a mineral that children often develop a deficiency in. Particularly girls in puberty may benefit from a multivitamin with iron. Additionally, the amount of vitamin D is somewhat low (2.5 mcg).
A better alternative is therefore the Every Day Powder from Vitals. The recommended dosage for children aged 1 to 11 years is one scoop, and for older children and adults, it is two scoops. One scoop provides, among other things, 2.5 mg of iron and 10 mcg of vitamin D3.
