Dormiplant ValerianVSM

Dormiplant Valerian is a herbal medicine containing 500 mg of valerian root extract, which can be used for sleep disorders.

Composition
The active ingredient is an extract (as a dry extract) of Valeriana officinalis L.s.l., radix (valerian root) (3-6:1). Extraction solvent: Ethanol 70% V/V. One film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of dry extract of valerian root.

Usage
In case of sleep disorders: 1 film-coated tablet half an hour to one hour before going to bed. If necessary, one extra film-coated tablet may be taken earlier in the evening.

In case of mild nervous tension: Up to 3 times a day 1 film-coated tablet.

Take the film-coated tablets without chewing and with sufficient liquid (for example, a glass of water of 200 ml). Dormiplant Valerian can be taken independently of meals.

Contraindications
Do not use Dormiplant Valerian if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to valerian root extracts or any of the other ingredients of Dormiplant Valerian.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
As no data are available on the use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of Dormiplant Valerian during pregnancy and the breastfeeding period is generally not recommended as a precautionary measure.
