This product contains the patented HerbaProtect® NOX. HerbaProtect® NOX was developed following new discoveries regarding the impact of sunlight on the skin. We already knew that the best ways to protect your skin from sun damage are applying a protective factor and avoiding sun exposure as much as possible. Naturally, this can already limit some of the sun's negative effects on your skin. However, it has recently become clear that the stress the skin endures from UV radiation lasts longer than previously thought. The adverse effect can persist for many hours and even deep into the night. Surprisingly, half of the damage caused by UV radiation only occurs long after the skin has been exposed to the sun. Sunlight stimulates the production of additional free radicals that overstimulate the skin's own melanin. The formation of extra radicals due to sun exposure will generally lead to higher oxidative stress in the skin, causing premature ageing and unwanted skin changes. Due to this new finding, that the skin incurs a significant portion of the damage long after sun exposure, there is a need for innovative skincare and protective products that remain effective over an extended period to prevent delayed skin damage.

A beautiful skin starts from within. A good lifestyle contributes to skincare, such as healthy nutrition, sufficient exercise, avoiding stress, getting enough sleep, and fresh air! The advice from the Nutrition Centre is to be in the sun with at least your head and hands uncovered for 15 to 30 minutes between 12-3 pm for the production of vitamin D in the skin and then protect the skin from the sun. The vitamin C products from Vitaminstore do not contain SPF and can therefore still be used. The advice is to protect the skin daily with an SPF cream if necessary. 

Besides healthy nutrition, dietary supplements can also contribute to beautiful, firm, and hydrated skin. Here are a few dietary supplements that can contribute to your daily beauty routine: 

Vitamin C and Vitamin E
Vitamin C and E have an antioxidative function. This means that these vitamins help protect (healthy) body cells against oxidative damage from external influences, such as air pollution and UV radiation. Vitamin C also has the ability to convert vitamin E back into its active working form, thereby maintaining the activity of vitamin E.

Collagen Powder or Collacaps
These products contain collagen and other ingredients that together contribute to internal skincare and reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Pure GLA
Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid. GLA supports the skin's natural ability to retain moisture, keeping it looking youthful, smooth, and radiant. 

Skin Hair Nail
Our nails, hair, and skin are structurally very similar and often require the same nutrients. Skin Hair Nail contains vitamin C, which is important for collagen formation that strengthens the skin. First, cleanse the face, neck, and décolleté. Apply the night cream to the cleansed skin and gently massage it in. Suitable for daily use.
