This product contains the patented HerbaProtect® NOX. HerbaProtect® NOX was developed following new discoveries regarding the impact of sunlight on the skin. We already knew that the best ways to protect your skin from sun damage are to apply a protective factor and to avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Naturally, this can already limit part of the sun's negative effect on your skin. However, it has recently become clear that the stress the skin experiences from UV radiation lasts longer than previously thought. The adverse effect can persist for many hours and even into the night. Surprisingly, half of the damage caused by UV exposure occurs long after the skin has been exposed to the sun. Sunlight stimulates the production of extra free radicals that overstimulate the skin's natural melanin. The formation of extra radicals due to sun exposure will result in higher oxidative stress throughout the skin, leading to premature ageing and unwanted skin changes. Due to this new finding, that the skin incurs a significant part of the damage long after sun exposure, there is a need for innovative skincare and protective products that work over a longer period to prevent delayed skin damage.

A beautiful skin starts from within. A good lifestyle contributes to skin care, including healthy nutrition, sufficient exercise, avoiding stress, adequate sleep, and plenty of fresh air! The advice from the Nutrition Centre is to be in the sun with at least your head and hands uncovered for a quarter to half an hour between 12-3 pm for vitamin D production in the skin and then protect the skin from the sun. The Vitamin C products from Vitaminstore do not contain SPF and can therefore be used as usual. The advice is to protect the skin daily with an SPF cream if necessary.

Vitamin C and Vitamin E
Vitamin C and E have an antioxidative function. This means that these vitamins help protect (healthy) body cells from oxidative damage caused by external influences, such as air pollution and UV radiation. Vitamin C also has the ability to convert vitamin E back into its active working form, thereby maintaining the activity of vitamin E.

Collagen powder or Collacaps
These products contain, in addition to collagen, other ingredients that together contribute to internal skincare and reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Pure GLA
Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) is an omega-6 fatty acid. GLA supports the skin's natural ability to retain moisture. As a result, the skin remains youthful, smooth, and radiant. 

Skin Hair Nail
Our nails, hair, and skin have a similar structure and often require the same nutrients. Skin Hair Nail contains, among other things, vitamin C, which is important for collagen formation that strengthens the skin.
