Excipients: Alcohol 35% vol.
Dosage:

Dosage for adults and children from 12 years:
Take 10 drops 3 times a day. If necessary, take 10 drops every 15 minutes, for 2 hours (maximum 12 times a day 10 drops). -
Dosage for children from 2 to 6 years:
Take 5 drops 3 times a day. If necessary, take 5 drops every 15 minutes, for 2 hours (maximum 12 times a day 5 drops). -
Dosage for children from 6 to 12 years:
Take 7 drops 3 times a day. If necessary, take 7 drops every 15 minutes, for 2 hours (maximum 12 times a day 7 drops).
The drops can be taken undiluted or mixed with a small amount of water, held in the mouth for a few seconds before swallowing.
Contraindications: None.
Side effects: None.
Interactions: No interactions with other drugs are known.
Pregnancy and lactation:
As far as is known, Husteel can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding according to the recommended dosage without any concerns. However, since Husteel contains 35% vol. alcohol, which means a maximum of 135 mg per dose of 10 drops, equivalent to 3.5 ml of beer or 1.5 ml of wine per dose, caution is advised for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
Effects on ability to drive and use machines:
As far as is known, Husteel does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery at the indicated dosage.
